GROUPS

SUPPORT GROUP FOR CODEPENDENCY: LEARN TO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF, IN A GROUP

 

I offer weekly support groups and process groups to support people who are seeking to address issues related to codependency. 

The support groups include educational components on themes related to Codependency, experiential exercises (learning through doing), and facilitated discussions among members about how relevant themes tie into their own personal experience(s). Members are encouraged to share openly and vulnerably and to both offer and receive consensual support from other group members. 

The process groups offer a group therapy context within which members can navigate interpersonal struggles and strengths, practice expressing feelings, and both give and receive feedback. As facilitator, I work within a framework called Gestalt Group Therapy which focuses on present moment awareness, contact with other members, identifying needs, personal responsibility, asking for support, and setting boundaries. 

Don’t identify as codependent, but still interested in one of the groups? 

That’s quite alright - It’s just a word. This group is intended to support people who want to increase their relationship to their own power, creativity and aliveness.
